Rolling Crawl Toy

A barrel-shaped roller covered in soft silicone bumps, with a face at one end.

Push it and it rolls a little way off, which is the whole trick: a baby who is almost crawling needs a reason to move, and a toy that runs away is a better reason than a toy that sits still. The bumps press in and out, so it works as something to chew and squeeze before that.
